Patrick began his financial services and insurance career in 1983 after attending LSU where he studied petroleum engineering and minored in mathematics.
Patrick is professionally licensed as a Series 6 and 63 representative through LPL Financial & hold his Series 65 license with Strategic Financial Concepts. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and Series 26 (held with LPL) Registered Principal with LPL Financial. Additionally, he holds multiple state licenses in Life, Health, Annuity and Variable Insurance.
He is the owner and president of Benefit Planning Group of which he leads an established team of professionals who focus on providing retirement and risk management strategies for individuals and small and large businesses. Patrick’s expertise is in advanced target marketing strategies, retirement strategies and maintaining a focus on client education and superior customer service.
Mr. Taylor has served on the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Agents Advisory Board, the National Field Advisory Board and the Alliance Advisory Board for the American General Agency Building Group. He currently serves as a board member for the Louisiana Technology Council and the Louisiana State Associations of Barbers and Cosmetologist. Other professional affiliations include The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), where he has been the recipient of multiple National Quality Awards.
